South Korea has paused its Truth and Reconciliation Commission, after several Korean adoptees worldwide have pushed for this to be in the spotlight.

It’s estimated around 3600 babies were sent to Australia, and the Australia United States Korean Rights Group sent cases to the Commission in 2023.
