Radio 4EB’s Hindi group had a special guest on their program: Sister (Sr) Meera Nagananda, Director of Brahma Kumaris of Malaysia.
Vice Convenor of the Indian (Hindi) group Roz spoke at length with Sister Meera during her Australian visit. Sr Meera was live in the Studios with her team while conducting talks around Brisbane on ‘Being Happy in an Ever Changing World’ during her short visit.
Sr Meera shared her knowledge about the Brahma Kumaris, a spiritual movement that originated in Hyderabad, Sindh, (now, Pakistan) during the 1930s. The organisation is known for the prominent role that women play in the movement on education. For this reason, it renamed itself as Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University.
Sr Meera has been practising Raja Yoga meditation for more than 50 years. She has delivered talks in more than 50 countries, across communities, senior government and international forums. Her talks cover topics such as mind management, spirituality and self-empowerment.
Brahma Kumaris offers free meditation sessions, held every Saturday at the Brahma Kumaris Centre in Nundah at 11 Boyd St. from 9am to 11am.
To book a spot, call (07) 3368 2391. For more information, please call Roz on 0434578840.
