For the first time in three years, the Queensland Chinese Forum conference titled ‘Empowering CaLD Communities in Queensland’ kicked off in Brisbane on the 10 February 2023, with the support of the Queensland government, the Brisbane City Council, the Australian Government, and the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations.
The forum took place at the Brisbane City Hall in the CBD and offered conferences around interesting topics for the Chinese community, including Small Business Support, Understanding mental health and support services, and business opportunities for the Olympics happening in Brisbane 2032.
Among the speakers who attended to the opening ceremony Paul Scarr, Federal Senator for Queensland, and Curtis Pitt MP, State Member for Mulgrave. Both expressed their gratitude to the Queensland Chinese Forum’s committee for their effort on organising this conference.
The conference also included information stalls and a jobs expo for those interested in the conference to know about these opportunities.
