A new cinema craze is taking the world by storm, known as the ‘Chicken Jockey Trend,’ which is linked to the Minecraft movie. This trend features moviegoers cheering loudly while tossing popcorn, drinks, and even unusual items like toilet paper, flour, and fire extinguishers, even a live chicken made a special appearance for the occasion.
While some believe this behavior has gone too far, Dr. Sophia Staite, a humanities lecturer at the University of Tasmania, suggests that the excitement and cheering creates a sense of connection. However, she does not condone the act of throwing objects and causing damage to cinemas.
