On February 10th, 2024, our community came together for a joyous Lunar New Year Potluck Party, ushering in the Year of the Dragon with laughter, delectable dishes, and cultural celebrations.
The evening was filled with nostalgia as we savoured traditional New Year delicacies and created new memories. The resonant tones of Cantonese and Chinese karaoke filled the air, bringing everyone together in musical harmony.
Mahjong tables buzzed with friendly competition, fostering camaraderie and connection among participants. The event allowed us to speak in our mother tongue all night, evoking a sense of home and belonging.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce more activities in the coming months (Probably Mahjong Competition and more traditional festival gathering).
