As we enter a new year, our focus remains on strengthening our programs, growing our membership, and continuing to serve multicultural communities. By becoming a member or renewing your membership, you directly support our language radio programs, helping to keep cultural voices on the airwaves and ensuring communities stay connected through in-language news, entertainment, and cultural storytelling. Your support keeps 4EB strong and sustainable.
A key part of what makes 4EB special is its role in bringing people together. With that in mind, we are excited to kick off the year with International Women’s Day and our first Women’s Luncheon of 2025, organised by our dedicated volunteer, Irene Tavutavu. This free event provides an opportunity for women of all ages and backgrounds to connect, share experiences, and celebrate one another. We encourage you to attend and be part of this important gathering.
Community participation and support are the foundation of 4EB, and one of the biggest ways we come together each year is through Radiothon 2025, our largest annual fundraiser happening this April. For more than four decades, Radiothon has helped us continue to operate our 24/7 station, expand programs, upgrade technology, and provide opportunities for broadcasters and volunteers. This year’s campaign as we celebrate our 45th year, it is critical in ensuring we continue to thrive for the next 45 years. Whether you choose to donate, spread the word, or take part in our events, every contribution makes a real impact.
As we grow, we are also inviting new language groups to join our multicultural media hub. If you or your community are interested in becoming part of 4EB, we would love to hear from you. Our strength lies in diversity, and we are always looking to welcome new voices and perspectives.
Finally, as we celebrate the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Snake, I extend my best wishes to all who are marking this occasion. May this year bring you prosperity, good health, and success.
