It’s subscriber and membership time at Radio 4EB. Airing in over fifty languages the success of Radio 4EB lies in the dedication of our volunteers and the invaluable services they provide for our listeners and communities. Memberships and subscriptions determine the amount of on-air time each program receives as well as financially allows for the day-to-day running of the station contributing to costs such as training, technical support, and studio equipment.

SUBSCRIBERS: For only $30 ($20 concession), Radio 4EB subscribers are people who would like to support their community and the station in general, but who do not want to be involved with broadcasting or station activities directly. From July 1, 2022, Radio 4EB subscribers will also start to receive a HUGE range of discounts across a range of partnering restaurants, venues and other businesses across Brisbane. Radio 4EB subscribers also receive discounts on:

  • Studio 4, Radio 4EB’s own professional Recording Studio! Record your podcast, band, music, audio book or more for only $60 per hour with our in-house engineer! 
  • Meeting room hire facilities. Hire our meeting room with limited free parking, tables, chairs, tea / coffee, and kitchen/toilet facilities for only $150 for an entire day!
  • ALL Radio 4EB subscribers subscribing for the first time in 2022, will also receive a free Radio 4EB t-shirt.

MEMBERS: for only $40 ($30 concession), members receive all of the above but is for people who want to host (or help host) their own radio show or podcast. In their language of origin or English, or both! Or a show for a specific audience such as youth, women or LGBTIQ.  

If you’d like to be get involved with the station, host or produce your own radio show (or do it with others), make new friends, volunteer, learn about broadcasting, producing, journalism, panel operation or podcasting or get involved in the governance of a broadcasting group; then Radio 4EB membership is for you. Membership also includes free broadcasting and radio panel operation courses.
