We’re thrilled to announce that 4K WAVE Logan is back in action for the year 2024!
Thanks to the generous additional funding support from the St George Foundation, we are able to continue delivering our acclaimed youth engagement program, 4K WAVE, in Logan. 4K WAVE is a community program aimed at nurturing the talents of young individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds who are interested in radio, podcasting, and music.
This initiative not only provides a platform for creative expression but also equips participants with valuable skills for their future endeavours. This year, we’re excited to have a youth-led team facilitating a series of workshops, totalling up to 30 sessions, with young people from all corners of Logan. Working in collaboration with esteemed partners such as the Ted Noffs Foundation – Street University, District 41, YFS, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Community Health Service (ATSICHS), and Youth Justice, we aim to offer a range of activities that deeply engage the youth community.
Our mission with 4K WAVE is to provide a pathway for expression and skill development, guiding young individuals onto promising pathways and future opportunities with 4EB.
