We’ll cover how burnout is affecting those in the hospitality industry; hear about the experiences of women in STEM; inform you about how the modern pentathlon is evolving as we look ahead to the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games; and gain further insight into the challenges refugees face trying to access disability services in Australia. We’ll also be speaking with Maddy Eggins who will give people an insight into the burgeoning global film industry in Queensland. Finally, with the Commonwealth Games well underway in Birmingham, we’ll be hearing from the people about whether Australia should remain a part of the British monarchy or become an independent republic.
The Source is a seasonal news and current affairs program, produced by students of Griffith University’s School of Humanities, Languages and Social Science.
In 2022, The Source broadcasts on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5- 5.30pm; the series begins Thursday August 4th.
