Week 1

Philippine Indiginenous Music

There is a vast population of the Philippine indigenous community in Australia and all over the world and this show reviews the talents and diversity among the Indigenous people of the Philippines. The Philippine Indigenous Program is a specialist show that airs every first Wednesday evening of the month. The show is aimed at Indigenous people who are living in Australia and overseas. This show covers the music from the North to the South of the Philippines. Originally aimed to play mainstream Indigenous music the show focuses on the ethnic music genre. In our show we talk about the various musical instruments like the bamboo and brass. We also cover the lifestyle, traditional clothing and food of the region along with the culture of the people.

Let’s talk Arts

“Let’s Talk Arts” program is a bridge connecting people with interest in all form of Arts. This program serves as a platform for emerging and closet artists to surface and talk about their passion and interest.

Filipino artists & personalities from Brisbane, interstate and overseas are featured in the program sharing their inspirational stories and their insights on Arts. Feedback from listeners are integrated into the program.

Let’s Talk Arts is delivered in Tagalog and English languages and also features original Filipino music.

Filipino Mabuhay!

Mabuhay! a Filipino way of saying Hello.  The Philippines with 7,641 islands has a very rich cultural and arts heritage passed on from the different groups of first inhabitants of the country. 

A program that talks about these Filipino Culture and Filipino Arts and the different types of Filipino Music, its diversity which is uniquely Filipino. The program also features different Filipino artists both local and global through interviews.  Each week features different topics of culture and arts.

Week 4

Usapang Kultura

“Usapang Kultura” (Let’s Talk Cultures) promotes and raises awareness of the value and power of culture.  Discussion involves Filipino traditions, present practices and effects of crossed or mixed culture. Dialogue also involves exploration on identity of Filipinos in diaspora & funny culture shock experiences.

Filipino personalities are invited to the program to share their life stories and wisdom. Feedbacks from regular listeners from different parts of the globe are integrated into the program.  

“Usapang Kultura” is delivered in Tagalog and English languages and also features original Filipino music.
