Radio 4EB’s Radiothon FUNRaiser saw a veritable treasure trove of fun filled prizes on offer. From dining vouchers, a spooky graveyard history tour, a scenic helicopter flight around Brisbane to an entire trip to Rwanda to see the gorillas; this was truly one of the most jam packed Radiothon’s 4EB has ever had!

To everyone who got involved, had some fun and raised some money for the worthwhile cause of keeping Radio 4EB on the air! A special mention is of course needed for our certificate recipients.
Radio 4EB is wildly appreciative of the indominable fundraising force that is the Greek group when it comes to Radiothon. Year over year, the Greek group has consistently been the highest contributor when it comes to pledging for Radiothon; this year was no different. The certificate for highest amount of funds collected during Radiothon 2022 was presented to the group convener Peter and broadcasters George & Michael by Station Manager, Jo Pratt.
Reggie from the Filipino broadcasting group was the Radio 4EB Volunteer of the Year and accepted the certificate for Highest Activities and Engagement During Radiothon on behalf of the Filipino Group. The group hosted their own party at the station that included food, a photo booth and live entertainment; fun was had all day long!
We must also mention Renatus from the Kinyarwanda Broadcasting Group for his contribution of the absolutely fantastic ultimate prize of a trip to Rwanda with a Gorilla Safari. Renatus worked tirelessly with Visit Rwanda to secure this amazing prize, a big thank you to Renatus!
