David Gulpilil would prove to one of Australia’s pioneering actors, providing an indigenous perspective that would be shown across the world, from Walkabout to Crocodile Dundee and Charlie’s Country. After a long battle with lung cancer the actor would pass away in 2021, but a new documentary Journey Home: David Gulpilil describes the long journey as the body of David Gulpilil was returned to land.
