4KWAVE is an initiative by Radio 4EB, delivering free workshops & training to young people aged 14-18 across multi-art forms and skills including:

  • Broadcasting
  • Podcasting
  • Studio & Live Audio Production
  • Film
  • Digital Media
  • Writing
  • Content creation/development
  • Events producing

4KWAVE is a program that aims to work with young participants to inspire and ignite creative skills, teach multi-art forms while learning the various skills required to create content, plan and showcase events in a fun, lively and safe environment. The young people would participate in the project in April 2026 (Youth Week).

4KWAVE runs in partnership with ReKon Youth Foundation, and Ethni, a not for profit youth organisation based in Logan, with the Support of the Community Broadcasting Foundation. These workshops will take place across different locations, including here at the station, 140 Main Street Kangaroo Point.
