Recording Studio

A complete Digital Recording system has replaced the older analogue system. Instead of the antiquated Tascam Multitask and mixer, Studio 4 has a new console, monitoring system and non-linear recording system.

Studio 4, located on the 1st level of Radio 4EB FM at Kangaroo Point, has an air-conditioned and isolated control room and recording room (approx. 6m X 9m). Studio 4 equipment includes:

Neumann, AKG and Shure microphones, Yamaha O1V mixing console, Pro Tools Digi 001, Sony Mini Disk Player, Tascam DA30 DAT player, Otari Reel to Reel and Dynaudio BM6A monitors.

Our sound engineer is Alex Oliver who previously worked with radio station, 4ZZZ in Brisbane. Niyi (pronounced Nee) Adepoyibi, our new production/sound engineer, is also available. He trained at Griffith University.
