Brisbane City Council's Active & Healthy Programs

Become active during the month of August with Brisbane City Council's Active and Healthy Programs.

The Active Parks Program offers various activities every week at more than 50 parks across Brisbane. The activities range from fitness classes to self defence and other events for Kids and adults.

The Real Adventure Women's (RAW) program has over 45 adventurous activities for women over 16 years. Why not join other women and experience sporting and recreational activities in a friendly, supportive and non-competitive environment.

The Growing Older and Living Dangerously (GOLD) Program offeres free or low cost activities for the over 50's.

Gold N Kids is a special program for kids and grandparents.

The Chill-Out Program is designed for young people aged between 10 - 17 where they can enjoy activities like basketball and Hip Hop dancing.

All of these programs encourage better health, personal interaction and an opportunity to learn new skills.
